One of my favorite place in Germany is the Vitrahaus from the Basel-based architects Herzog & de Meuron. It's in a little city called Weil am Rhein, close to France & Switzerland. At the same place there is also the Vitra Design Museum which is the first construction from Frank O. Gehry's in Europe.
